Longing For a Vacation

We’re so excited to see our baby but we won’t be able to see her/him until December. I know when the baby comes out we would have our hands full changing diapers and taking turns taking care of the baby. That’s why I hope in the meantime we can go on a vacation. A Branson vacation maybe too far for us for now but maybe a trip to a nearby beach or resort would do. My wife and I certainly need some R and R and even little Z needs some vacation from school. Pretty soon, when our new baby comes out we won’t have time to do anything again say for the next 5 years. LOL!

Healthcare IT Jobs

I have been assigned by our HR manager to do some interviews for job applicants in our complany.  I work in a call center but the applicants in our company are 80% nursing graduates.  A few years back there nursing became a trend because the countries abroad have been hiring so many nurses but after a few years there are now so many nursing graduates and our hospitals can’t keep up in hiring all of them anymore.  So the nursing graduates had no choice but look for employment elsewhere.

Sometimes I feel bad for them because they studied hard for four years only to graduate and get no job related to their industry. Anyway, I heard there are a lot of openings for healthcare it jobs. If they ask my advice I would tell them to go study IT which is more in demand these days. That coupled with their nursing degree would surely land them a job in no time.
