House Renovation Progress

Our house renovation has finally started and we’ve already secured all the requirements to get our building permit. We found a trustworthy architectural firm that we hired to create the plans and they handled everything including the structural, electrical, plumbing and ofcourse the blue prints. All we need to do now is submit this to our City hall and have it processed.

Since we are working within a budget, we can’t afford high tech tools like hydraulic booster, mechanical cement mixer and others, so we have to rely on manual labor. Although the time it takes to build it will be longer, at least the money is going to help local workers instead of big machinery companies. Anyway while looking at the blue print, I can’t help but feel excited to see what the outcome will look like, and how living in our new house would be like!

I pray that everything will go well, and that we have everything we need to get the house built to be strong and beautiful.

Thanks to social media, people are beginning to realize that this is bad behavior and some politicians probably struck by their conscience have thankfully removed their names, logos and banners from the streets.

The sad news about all this is that our city just underwent a major flooding due, so instead of wasting our tax money by putting up their ugly trampolines, they should be preparing the city and fixing up flood prone areas!

I wish there are uv light bulbs that can see through a politician to find out if he is corrupt or not before they pass their certificate of candidacy -_-…

Falling billboard hits vehicles – Typhoon Nesat / Pedring

Earlier a billboard fell on 2 cars and a public utility bus. This has been a recurring occurrence that could have easily been avoided. Sadly our supreme court has recently stopped the government agency that is tasked to demolish improper billboards due to technicality. It’s sad when the keepers of justice is blinded by money, not seeing the possible dangerous implications of their decisions. Maybe they should put up giant billboards in front of the houses of the justices and personnel that was responsible in stopping the demolition of poorly built billboards. Lets see if they don’t complain about their safety. Really pathetic. -_-
