Planning permission applications typically take roughly eight weeks, however, more complex projects may take longer.
To have the highest possible chance of haing your planning permission granted, ensure any neighbours or local residents are happy for your construction project and are unlikely to appeal the request. It is also wise, once planning permission has been approved, to ensure metal suppliers, construction workers, vehicles and any other onsite staff are properly licensed and qualified.
