Family-fun Rainy Day Activities

As a parent, you’ll know that there’s nothing more fun and enjoyable than taking your kids to the park or going to the beach on a glorious summer’s day. However, for those rainy days, keeping your kids entertained can be tricky. This is why we have put together a few family bonding activities for you to try out.

If you love spending time with your family, and you’d always turn off your TV show or pause your game at partycasino.com to play a game with your kids if they asked you to, then you are sure to appreciate some of the rainy day activities suggested below.

Make a family collage

Every family has a drawer stashed full of old photographs which never get looked at. Why not put them to good use and make a giant family collage which you can hang up?
Start off by getting yourself a large sheet of A3 sized card and a frame big enough to fit it. Next, lay out all of the photographs and pick out your favorites. Cut all the photos out in different shapes and sizes, then have fun arranging and fitting them together on the card. This activity is great for family bonding since it gets you all working together as well as reminiscing on memories.

Play treasure hunters

This is a great game which even parents will enjoy. Begin by writing down some riddles, poems or clever clues on pieces of paper and hide them around the house. Hide little rewards such as candies with each clue and have a bigger prize at the end.

Candy games

If you love treating your kids to some sweet treats then why not set up this fun game for them to play? Simply lay out two bowls and fill one with small candies such as M&M’s. The aim of the game is to stuck a sweet onto the end of a straw and drop it into the empty bowl. See how many you can all do in a minute and have fun eating them afterwards.
