Church Gear Upgrade

As the director for the music ministry, part of my responsibility is making sure that we had the gear that we need, and that they are all properly working. It’s a very big responsibility that I would normally just say no – its just that this time around, there was a clear calling for me to help out.

Thanks to the kind hearts that the Lord moved to donate for the ministry, we’ve been gradually upgrading our church audio equipment, starting with the speakers. We then installed a new monitor amplifier and monitor speakers. Right before our 50th anniversary, we also got a new and bigger mixer and extension speakers. We’ve also been upgrading our mics and instruments – a very prosperous year for the music ministry indeed.

Right now we are looking for a new keyboard amplifier and maybe a new fun synth to handle horn and lead sections. We have however put on hold any further purchase until the church building is better suited for more instruments.
