Little Drummer Boy
Zack shows his interest in music yet again. If you’ve been reading my blog, you would know that this little boy is very enthusiastic when it comes to music. Aside from his usual guitar antics, Zack loves to make drum beats. He would use his hand and make a noticeable pattern on the table, and if I may add – he has impeccable timing. The first one to notice this is his Kuya Z, which was surprised because he could not do the pattern that his younger brother was doing!
Since he loves making drum beats and he loves playing with the virtual drums of Garageband, I decided that its time to let him tackle a live drum set. Here is a quick picture of us before he played:

I eventually had to stop him because he was hitting the snares hard, but I am glad that he enjoyed it.
I hope that as my sons grow up, they carry with them their passion for music. I hope and pray that they get to be productive instead of just hanging around a cigar store wasting time like many teenagers now do. I will however do everything that I can to guide them and to keep their love of music rolling.

Hello Sander ! I was browsing some of the comments published on my past posts and I never thought that it was Paula’s Sander who commented on “Walking My Way To Fitness.”
Those pictures of your sons being interested in music early with you supporting them in the background had touched a soft spot in my heart. It reminded me of my dad and his family who were very lucky to learn music and play at least 3 instruments when they were kids, something I never got the chance to really focus. They were very passionate with music that they have very high standards and does not accept slow learners and off key tunes, but somehow they have mellowed down as they grew older.
One day I will write a post about this. Thanks again for dropping by my blog.
