Back to Home Recording
After a long hiatus, I have finally gotten some free time to get back into home recording. I was playing around with my effects pedal when I suddenly had the urge to make a demo of the artist copy patches I made.
I took on the challenge of creating Eric Johnson patches for the POD HD400, and I was somehow satisfied. Some will still argue that my rendition was not completely accurate but the important thing is I liked it. I then jammed on an EJ track called East Wes using tones that I based off EJ’s setup.
After recording it and listening through my humble speaker system, I found it appeasing, but what’s wierd is if I listen in using my headphone, it does seem a bit trebly. Maybe it is due to my cheap headphones, which reminds me to get decent models of headphones like numark headphones for better headphone monitoring.

Bohol Tour – Blood Compact Monument
Our hotel got us a driver and a car that will take us to the most important places and tourist destinations found in Bohol. The first destination was the Blood Compact Statue. Its a small place situated with a nice view of the sea.
The Blood Compact was said to have occurred on a Spaniard Galleon at Sea and not on land. So while looking at the view of the sea, it is nice to imagine how it was like during the time when Spain was still building their relationship with the people of Bohol. The sea view was probably full of ships!
They probably started out by learning the local language and then by trading. The Spaniards probably buy gold with their goods or vice versa. Bohol really has a rich history which makes visiting each destination even more exciting.

BBC – Bohol Beach Club
Its been a few days now since our vacation and yet we still get dreamy eyed in reminiscing our adventure in Bohol. And we all agree that our favorite place among the many great places we visited was no less than the famous Bohol Beach Club. We liked it so much we spent two days there! Instead of talking too much, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
