A Special Gift for my Son

My son is a definite car fanatic.  That’s why I always indulge him on his whim to buy the latest toy cars.  Last March, I gave him his most expensive toy ever.  His Peg perego ride-on and remote control car in one. I admit I was having second thoughts buying it for him because of its size but one look at my son’s excited eyes and I couldn’t say no. The fact that it was an Audi car which is just his favorite car brand in the whole world didn’t help. So now this toy is sitting here in our home. I don’t regret buying it at all because even after a few months have passed he’s still using it. He even takes care of it and treats it like a real car.

Extra Furniture

Ever since we moved and my relatives left some of their furniture behind, we have been struggling with how to arrange these excess furniture. We have already given up the sofa and our dining table but we still have two tv stands left. Yesterday, we gave one of our old television and now we are thinking of giving away the old tv stand that came along with it. The only thing that’s stopping us is how we are going to fit that inside our car. My father has expressed interest in taking it and I assured him he can have it as long as he provides the transportation. It’s nice to be able to give but the truth is we just want to have the extra space that all these extra furniture are hogging.

Anxiously Waiting for Audition Results

Tomorrow I will finally know the result of my audition.  If I pass, it would be the biggest thing that will happen to me.  I will be rubbing elbows with the biggest names in the Philippine songwriting business including great singers like Gary Valenciano in a four-day songwriting seminar.  I was nervous during the audition but I know I did my best.  Anyway, if I don’t make it then there’s always next year.  Still, I hope God will provide me with this wonderful opportunity.  I have been waiting for opportunities like this all my life and I hope it will finally be given to me.

In choosing a car insurance you have to decide what your needs are. If you want one that covers the minimum limit required by law then check with your State what their requirements are. Work-At-Home Dads – Tips on Working Online

I have been thinking of being a work-at-home Dad.  However, I know that working at home is not that easy and I have to prepare myself for this.  That is why I have been searching for tips online on how to succeed in my quest to work at home.

One of the things that I need to evaluate are my skills.  What are the things that I’m good at and at the same time what are the things that I enjoy doing.  I need to love the job I’m doing to be able to do it long term, that’s why.  After doing an evaluation I think I can start with writing articles, blogging, and copywriting.  There seems to be a lot of demands out there for this type of work and I can write a good article or two.
The good thing about working at home is that there is really no fancy equipment needed.  We already have an internet connection that’s reliable so all I need is a sturdy desk and a comfortable chair which I don’t have to spend a lot of money to be able to buy.

I know I can’t quit my job now as work-at-home dads don’t get paid as soon as they start.  I have to balance my schedule so I can still keep my day job and at the same start with my goal on working online.  I may have to do it after office hours where I can spend two to three hours looking for a job online.  I will have to apply on jobs that have flexible working hours and can fit my current work schedule.
Working at home is not easy as a pie.  It’s still a real job that requires hours of work.  I hope I can follow these tips right away so I can succeed in working online.
