God’s Faithfulness
God has been really faithful to me and my family. In situations where we are unsure, He never fails to show the way. He turns our mistakes into opportunities, our failures into success, our doubts into deeper faith, our sadness into joy, and last but not the least, he turns our worries into hope! My real issue right now is how can we as a family return God’s favor? The message at church was very clear – Be Faithful! In everything that we do – lets aim to give glory to God! And yes, it really means everything. That is what I am trying to work on, always asking the question: How can I and my family be of service to God while doing our daily routine? Slowly but surely with God’s grace – we hope to contribute better to his Kingdom! So in terms of blogging I have decided that moving forward, I will be writing about the weekly sermon that we hear at church. I hope that it will serve as guide, not only for me, but also to my son Z when he grows up and reads this blog. I pray that he never forgets that Jesus loves him

Children’s Illustrated Bible
After seeing ALL the children’s Bible in our local bookstores. We finally settled for this – “Children’s Illustrated Bible”. There were other viable Bibles, but this one stood out because of it’s 1 illustration per page ratio. And it also covers more stories than Z’s previous Bible. When we got home, Z immediately scanned the entire Bible and he even shared some stories with his mom – in his own words. He found particularly interesting how Samson broke those pillars in one of the illustrations. Looks like this will add more Bible study fun for me and Z.

Earthquake hits Manila
We were just hit by an earthquake. I was in front of my computer when I felt my chair and the table sway. It didn’t last long and I’m glad everyone is ok. I hope that this earthquake trend has passed and spared our country.

Discounted John Mayer Tickets
Here is the updated early bird discounted ticket price poster (that was long). Now go and think about it. Would you or should you? Most are already spending their years worth of savings for the best seats. I think if MOA still stands after a failure of election on May 15, 2010 – there is no stopping this concert. I would be seeing a lot of empty pockets though…

Donuts and Z
Z has been a donut fan since he could put those little munchkins in his mouth. He started out with small donuts and then moved up his way to donuts with “holes”. There was even a time when I’d bring him donuts almost everyday. Everytime my son is happy and enjoying himself, like the pic below, I can’t help but feel happy myself. So forgive me for indulging my son’s craving for Donuts.

I’m on RX 93.1
Well not quite what you would imagine, but at least my video is currently featured on their website. You can check it out here It’s an old video of me playing Bold as Love with Z almost messing it up. Looks like the opposite happened, this video is turning out to be my most popular video. Thanks to RX 93.1 for the feature, hope they feature my original music in the future. I have attached a screenshot of their page so that when they change the featured video – I still have my evidence… (“,)

John Mayer Ticket Price
Yes, John Mayer is coming to Manila, and no it’s no where near cheap. I’m still in a state of denial over the price – hoping that maybe the organizers will lower it, but I have read that others have already paid for reservations. This means that I’ll probably go for Silver so that my wife and I can enjoy the concert together. I’m excited to watch it, but at the same time I dread having to spend that much for a concert. Anyway here’s a promotional image for his concert here in Manila:

Pacquiao beats Clotty
Ofcourse I wanted Manny to win, but this win is what I would call “bleh”. If you are looking for an action packed, thrilling fight, then you ought to look elsewhere because in this fight, Clotty decided that he wanted to bore all the filthy rich boxing fans and just hid behind his gloves all throughout the fight. Well a win is still a win. Congratulations to the people’s champ.
