Chewee and his antics
Chewee has different approaches for each member of our family. With me he likes to play fetch and play fights. After a long and tiring day at work, the first one to greet me at the door – is always Chewee, as soon as the door opens Chewee will stand up and hug my foot. And then he gets his “toy” which is a cotton based dog that looks very much like Chewee and takes it to me. Ofcourse I have to oblige and play fights or throw the toy and play fetch.
With Z he likes to kiss, chase and lick. Z is one happy customer when Chewee is at full energy. They would run around the house and all you can hear is Z’s laughter coupled with Chewee’s barking.
I envy my wife because with her, Chewee would just be a nice dog and lay down. He is also very attentive to her – and as proof Chewee learned most of his tricks from her.
The worst attitude of Chewee though is only shown to our helper. Chewee likes to bully her, when she is eating, Chewee will come and bark at her expecting a piece of food. On the bright side though, Chewee likes to sleep in her room, and goes whereever our helper goes.
Now you know how multifaceted our Chewee is. Only one thing is consistent when Chewee deals with us, and that is that he Loves us. If you don’t have a pet yet, I highly recommend that you get one – well if you are ready for a big responsibility with even bigger returns.

Chewee
We bought Chewee as a gift for Z last year around January, so this month would mark the end of his 1st year with us. Raising Chewee was hard – entailed a lot of cleaning and training. But Chewee was a brave and intelligent dog, by 3 months he was already doing a lot of tricks, and slowly but surely, we were bothered to clean less. Right now at 1 years old, Chewee is a mild mannered, playful, sweet and obedient dog. Ofcourse he is not perfect, and he still creates some mess from time to time, but we know we are blessed to have him.

Birthday Party
I was skeptical with the idea of having my son’s birthday celebrated at his school – plus having some stranger do a puppet / magic show. Since wife was adamant and I used to love puppet shows at church when I was younger – I played along. Little did I know that not only will my son love it – his whole class and teachers even enjoyed the show. Now I’m gonna recommend that type of celebration to all my friends. ![]()

Z @ 5 yrs old
How time flies, my baby boy is now a legitimate big boy. I know I maybe biased, but Z looks very much like I did when I was 5. He has grown very tall and towering over his classmates, although he is thin like me, he is fat full of smiles. I hope we can get some more muscle/fat under his skin but other than that I’m perfectly fine with how he is. With his many accomplishments like learning to read, write, count and learning to socialize, I can’t help but be one proud and happy father. I hope and pray that God will continue to guide him as the years pass by, and that I don’t get in the way of the many successes that God has planned for Z’s life. There is nothing more I wish for than for my son to grow up happy and loving God and his family. Looks like there is no stopping this little boy from growing up. Love you Z!
